MORE
To me, everything is design. Over the last 18+ years of my professional career I’ve had a lot of titles — everything from Intern, to VP, Group Account Director; from Lead Yoga Teacher to Fractional CMO.
The common thread is my approach to design — I believe it should be human-centric, functional, and carry an innate sense of novelty & wonder. The best designs always feel like “wow, how cool — why didn’t I think of that?!”
Additionally, I think design comes most often from necessity. And as a mother and caretaker, some of my best ideas have been to sold a problem for myself or my clients.
Take a look at some of my favorite design inspo, books, personal interests that not only spark joy, but give me what I believe to be a create edge.
I’m currently expanding my capacity for speaking engagements, in addition to writing articles and doing more physical fabrication of production elements. I believe our resumes give a peek into what we have done — which is much different from what we desire to do.
If you’re unsure about what you’re looking for in your next project — let’s chat — sometimes it takes just finding the right person, not title, for the job.
